Here's a simple yet irresistible dish...
Ingredients:
Baby potato - 1/2 kg, parboiled and halved
Cumin seeds(jeera) - 2 to 3 tbs
Grated coconut - 1 1/2 tbs
Green chillies, slit - 2 or 3
Lemon juice - 1/2 tbs
Coriander leaves - few chopped
Curry leaves - few
Jeera powder - 1 tbs
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 or 1 1/2 tbs
Sugar (optional)
Method:
Heat oil in a wok/pan, add cumin seeds,curry leaves,green chillies and saute.
Then add potatoes and salt. Cover and cook over medium heat till the potatoes
are completely cooked and turn light brown.
Add lemon juice, coriander leaves and coconut. Toss it and mix well
Serve hot with rice or paranthas.
